AEROFLOW BREASTPUMPS

They probably won’t appreciate this photo when they’re older but I know I will! I consider myself to be pretty seasoned in the breastfeeding department now, but it certainly wasn’t always this way. It can be so overwhelming as a new mama-to-be trying to figure out how to get prepared, or even as a second-time mama trying to navigate your way through all of the new information and products that are out there. This is no exception when it comes to getting a breast pump and it’s unfortunate to know how many expecting moms are unaware that this is a covered benefit through their health insurance. They consequently end up paying anywhere from $100-$500 out of pocket and it shouldn’t be this way! I was almost that person had it not been for a friend guiding me along, and so my hope is that I can be that friend to any and all of you who may be reading this now. This is why I’m so excited to be partnering with Aeroflow Breastpumps — they specialize in helping moms get their breast pump for little to no cost through insurance and since this space largely specializes in all things motherhood related, I am more than honored to help spread the word about them. Through Aeroflow Breastpump’s service, many breast pumps end up being completely free and others are offered as an insurance upgrade. Even better, they take care of the entire process for you, including handling the paperwork, filling the insurance claim, and retrieving all necessary documents from your doctor. How amazing is that? Pregnancy is enough work in itself and I love that this service takes care of all of these little details for you so that you can focus on the important things — like growing a human! All you have to do is visit the Aeroflow Breastpumps website and fill out their Insurance Qualification Form to see what options are available to you! They even provide pregnancy and postpartum support garments like maternity support bands, compression socks, postpartum recovery garments, and more through insurance. Plus they have a great selection of supplies and accessories such as breast pump backpacks (I think I need one of these,) hands-free pumping bras, and essentials like milk-storing bags, cleaning supplies, and nursing pads. And if you have any FSA/HSA dollars, you can use those to cover any additional pumping supplies and accessories costs! As I type this out I am so bummed I didn’t discover this service earlier into my breastfeeding journey. They really do make everything so seamless and set mamas up for a great start. Again, just fill out the short qualification form on their website with some of your basic health insurance info and they’ll let you know everything you’re eligible to receive!

Now that you’re aware of the amazing service that Aeroflow Breastpumps offers, let me introduce you to one of the incredible breast pumps that is fully covered under most insurance plans: The Lansinoh Smartpump 2.0. I’ve been testing it out for the past several weeks to give you my honest input, and if you’re here for the reader’s digest version: pick this one! And please take my word for it when I say this because I have tried SEVERAL over the years and I do not take a recommendation like this lightly. This pump does it all and then some. If you’re looking for the more involved review, this is Lansinoh’s newest and ultra-quiet double electric breast pump that comes with an LCD screen, lightweight body, and carrying handle. It’s actually surprising how powerful and effective it is given how small it is — AND IT HAS THE OPTION TO BE HANDS FREE! Sorry for the shouty capitals, but this is everything as a busy mom and it makes pumping so much more practical and convenient. It comes with an adapter but can also be used with double A batteries (which is how I use it) or a car adapter for on the go pumping. I find the suction and my overall output to be no different when using it this way than when it’s plugged into the wall and frequent use does not compromise its effectiveness over time. I could genuinely talk about this for days, but just to call out a few other features I like: its ComfortFit flanges are so soft and flexible with ideal suction and fit, it uses Bluetooth to automatically track and monitor your pumping sessions with an app, it has 3 customized pumping styles to help mimic your baby’s natural feeding pattern, 8 levels of suction for power and comfort…I can go on. Ultimately, it’s a good one, you guys! And I’m so glad that many of you will be able to grab it for little to no cost at all after taking advantage of Aeroflow Breastpumps! If you have any questions or if there’s anything else I can do to help, please don't hesitate to ask! Wishing you all the best in your feeding journey, and reminding you that whatever that ends up being is what’s best for you and baby both. XO, Lindsay.
